A CBCT Scan or Dental cone beam computed tomography is a special type of x-ray equipment that produces three-dimensional images of the mouth to help form a more accurate diagnosis. This technology makes it possible to detect the tumor’s shape, size, and location in a noninvasive and painless alternative to the later. The CBCT scan is also used to measure the progress and effectiveness of the treatment by comparing the results of the scan.
